This quote was said by Eleanor Roosevelt. I think it's asking when will people want to start helping each other instead of trying to bring misery to each other. People would rather hurt people then try to prevent it.

Be the Change

My group is working on a project dealing with recreation centers. My group consists of myself, Stephanie Martinez, and Kris Pearce. We got our service learning hours at school. We created a flyer and a brochure. We are currently working on a poster and a website.

Magnet Schools

The plan to make magnet schools more diverse is a horrible plan. They shouldn't draft students. I do understand that to admit students they should look at grades, test scores, attendance, and behavior, but not race or income. Some people might not be able to get into a school they really want to go to because of their race or income. The person who might take their spot is someone who doesn't want to go there, but just because they make the school more diverse they go there. That's ridiculous.

Haiti

It's crazy how people the need to be checked out and healed have to wait. There should be enough doctors and nurses there to help everyone. What happened over there is so horrific, and some people over here don't even try to help. I see people go around to raise money to send over there, but if it doesn't benefit people here, they don't care. Everyone should be trying to help. Some people need to learn how to be less selfish.

2010

This year has been alright so far. All I plan on accomplishing this semester is to get good grades.
